A Quick Note About "Sponsored Posts"

If you’ve been on the blog for any time at all, you’ve probably noticed that some posts have a “sponsored posts” tag on them. For the sake of clarity (and to cover my legal side!), I wanted to take a minute to explain how Semi-Planned Chaos defines the term “sponsored post.”

First, a “sponsored post” is simply one in which I may receive an incentive if you use the links contained. You will never have to pay more for using my tracking link; in fact, sometimes it might even save you some money! But SPC may get a small commission, discount, or other incentive in exchange for posting the link.

That being said… All reviews posted on this site contain my genuine (and often unfiltered) opinion of the product or service in question. Semi-Planned Chaos does not assume any liability if you dislike the product or service in which we have provided a referral, particularly in instances where the undesirable attributes of the product or service have explicitly been mentioned within the review.

Likewise, we encourage you to do your own independent research on any products or services that you have been referred to through this blog. We all have our own set of dealbreakers, and just because I liked (or didn’t like!) a product or service mentioned does not mean that you’ll have the same opinion. All I can ask is that you please use our referral links and codes if you do decide to make a purchase… It’s a small way to help support this site without any extra money coming out of your pocket. 🙂
