Yet another long-overdue update.

Wow, this blog sure has had a rocky start, hasn’t it? But, thankfully, life has started to return to our version of normal. Our third foster child has returned to her mother, and our two girls are relearning how to handle our crazy family dynamic. It’s been a long road, and I’d be lying if I said that every minute felt worth it in the end. But, here we are — stronger than ever before.

I don’t really want to get into the details of what’s gone on for the past three months, and it’s not because there’s nothing to tell. I’m trying this new thing where I focus on the positives of any situation, and in this case, the positive is that I have a little more time again and I plan to use that time for my writing. Yay!

Keep your eyes on the blog — awesome things are coming soon.

A resident exile and scholarly vagabond, I curate a life written in the margins of a shifting map. My tenure as a Lead Special Education teacher and professional copywriter has been repurposed into a new mission: the architecture of the 'In-Between.' Operating from a mobile command center, I weave together gothic fiction, clinical advocacy, and interlaced oddities. I don't just tell stories; I construct artifacts of survival for those who, like me, must pace their magic to match their pulse.
